On November 8, 2018, the Development Champions and representatives of the Rethinking Yemen’s Economy initiative held a joint event in Brussels with the EastWest Institute to discuss the economic situation in Yemen.

Participants included policymakers and representatives of think tanks and the international community. The discussion addressed local councils, ways to empower state institutions and the importance of track II initiatives, and resulted in recommendations to mitigate the risks of the economic situation in Yemen.
