Othman Al-Haddi

Deputy Chairman of Yemen’s Economy Team

Othman Al-haddi is a seasoned leader with over 28 years of transformative experiences spanning macroeconomics, public policy, Human Capital, corporate governance, contracting, manufacturing, FMCG, healthcare, and services. He is highly accomplished, a multiple award-winning strategic leader, author, and a sought-after speaker in international forums.

Currently, Al-Haddi serves as the Deputy Chairman of Yemen’s Economy Team that oversees the economic. In addition, he acts as an Executive Advisor to key Saudi government entities, including the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen.

Al-Haddi is also a distinguished member of multiple Boards of Directors and Board Committees in leading public and private entities in KSA, such as King Faisal Specialist Hospital (KFSH) and the Saudi Conventions and Exhibitions General Authority (SCIGA), as well as serving on presidential and supreme committees within the Government of Yemen.

Al-Haddi has contributed significantly to public policy design, including leading the development of the Human Capital Strategy for Riyadh City, a cornerstone of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, as well as solo leadership in the establishment of Riyadh Foundation, the world's largest philanthropic organization.

Previously, Al-Haddi spent 16 years of international experience with the blue-chip company Procter & Gamble, working across five countries. Based in Geneva, Switzerland, he led the Human Capital strategy for the Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Africa region, where he was instrumental in driving strategic planning initiatives, improving organizational performance, and aligning workforce strategies with corporate objectives. He also served as the HR leader for the Binladin Group, overseeing 500 companies and 200,000 employees for eight years, during which he successfully implemented drastic restructuring and performance enhancement frameworks and strategic workforce planning.
