Dr. Mohammed BaNaga is the Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Yemen – Aden (Appointed in November 2021 by Republican Decree). He is the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Political Science at the University of Aden. Before this, he served as the Assistant Director General for Economic Affairs in the General Department of Irrigation and Land Reclamation at the Ministry of Agriculture.

Throughout his career, Dr. BaNaga has contributed significantly to the economic sector, undertaking numerous studies and research projects for various governmental and non-governmental agencies. His work has been published in several Yemeni scientific journals, magazines, and newspapers.

Dr. BaNaga holds a doctorate in Economic Sciences and remains an active contributor to the field of economics and political science in Yemen.
