Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Political Science at the University of Aden. Previously, Dr. Banaja served as assistant director general for economic affairs in the General Department of Irrigation and Land Reclamation at the Ministry of Agriculture.

During Banaja’s career, he has undertaken numerous economic studies and research for a number of governmental and non-governmental agencies.

Banaja has published scientific articles and worksheets in several Yemeni magazines and newspapers. He holds a doctorate in economic sciences.
