Mr. Al-Aulaqi currently serves as the Secretary-General of the Economic Team for the Presidential Leadership Council.

He has previously held several prominent positions, including Executive General Manager of the Yemen Oil Company, Deputy Minister of Water and Environment for the Environment Sector, and Chairman of the General Authority for Environmental Protection.

Mr. Al-Aulaqi graduated from Dalhousie University in Canada with a degree in engineering and worked in the private sector in the oil industry before transitioning to public service.

He is also an active participant in civil society and has made significant contributions, including founding and serving as the President of the "Change and Development Forum" in 2012. Currently, he is a founding member of the Development Champions Forum and a member of the Presidential Body of the Shabwa National Council.
